Country Living Fair Glasgow

Here are photos of our stand at the Country Living event in Glasgow, it was hard work but good fun , lots of sales and really lovely comments about our work! A little pick me up for the winter.

Very busy this week preparing for the Country Living Exhibition in Glasgow. Making lots of jewellery and Mark is preparing prints to exhibit on the stand too. Here are some images of my work in progress in my lovely workshop.

Pittenweem Arts Festival

August seem s a long way away now but here are some images of my exhibition at the Pittenweem Arts Festival this summer.

One of my new necklaces first exhibited at the festival using paper / resin, ceramic beach pebble, silver and photo etched silver.  £105 I am making some more for my next exhibition at the Whitehouse gallery in Kirkcudbright.

Long silver necklace with enamel and beach pebble. This ceramic beach pebble deserved its own long chain to show it off. I made it for the Pittenweem Arts Festival 2009 and plan to do some similar for this year 2011.           £125

I started making silver chain necklaces with semi precious stones, this one is malachite azurite

£145   .  

Other variations on the theme, been making these necklaces for 3/4 years now and still finding ways to experiement and develop them.

Plans are afoot for new versions combining more materials and textures including other semi precious stones, felt, paper,enamel for example.

Paper and resin jewellery

Gorgeous patterned ceramic pebble finds on my local beach reignited an interest in pattern 4/5 years ago.


I have translated this into my jewellery with use of paper and resin. I also photoetch pattern directly onto the silver. The pieces are often reversible with resin and paper on one side and the patterned silver on the back.   2 of my trademark hammered dangles finish this pendant off.
